More Customers-Ambit

 We signed a few new customers this weekend, thank you guys so much. We have done some pretty extensive research on most of the companies offering energy services in Connecticut.  I am glad I switched to Ambit for a few reasons. I would like to inform all who read this blog to check your 'Utility Bill' carefully each month. I know after writing a check or having a paper-less bill go to the exact same company for about the exact same amount each month has been the norm. Well until I looked at my bill after getting involved with Ambit seems I was switched to another supplier without even knowing it. Yes I will say that again, a UN-ethical outfit somehow switched my service without my knowledge. I have made calls to the proper people and I will write about what I hear. I can tell you I was paying 3 cents a kWh more than if I hadn't been unknowingly switched from CL&P being my supplier, and when I get switched to my new service with Ambit on the 25th of March I will be paying 4.5 cents less.  
So as you can see other outfits in the Energy Service business can't have a company slogan like Ambit's.

Energized Customer-Ambit

Today we got our first customer 'ENERGIZED'. This is a pleasant milestone. We have signed up many new customers but it does take time for the service to be switched over. Changing to a new electrical or natural gas supplier will take at minimum of a few weeks. This particular customer signed up on 02/28/2013 and got energized this morning. Very Exciting!
 Which brings to me to my next point. I have only been at this for a month now. I can clearly see that Ambit is a solid company that understood from the beginning that this is a service industry and to be the best the service and IT backbone was going to have to be top shelf. John Burke and his over 15 years of leadership and consulting experience working in the telecommunications, financial services, venture capital and software development industries definitely made the difference.. He certainly was successful at putting together what was needed for this company to thrive.

Customers Are Coming-Ambit

 Getting customers is not the only requirement to be successful as a Ambit consultant. But it is part of the process. I had a new customer call me today and refer both his brothers and his brother in law all three of which live in markets we service. How cool is that, and who knows how far it might go from these new contacts. I am seeing that is part of the beauty of this system Ambit has developed. I also got a customer the other day all from just being myself and helping someone in need. I went to get gas and after paying and pumping (and crying the whole time because of the cost) a lady was sitting off to the side on the gas station lot with a flat. I pulled up next to her and ask if she was all set. She tells me she forgot her phone and could she use mine. Of course. She called her husband and AAA and thanked me. I told her no problem I was glad to help out and while you are waiting take a look at my flyer. I explained very briefly about what it is I do and I was on my way. Next day a new customer in my Powerzone and I wasn't sure who it was. So called to welcome them and to say thanks and sure enough it was the lady I helped out with the flat tire telling me how this is going to save her household over $50 a month. What a great thing to hear. I helped her she helped build my business and Ambit is saving her family money. Win Win Win !!

Ambit Support


Seeing that it has only been a few short weeks that my wife and I have been Ambit consultants I don't have information on all aspects of the company but I do have good information based on our experiences so far. One of those experiences has been the amount of support from many different people on our team. I have received phone calls, emails, text messages and even snail mail letters from other senior consultants on our team. The kicker however is our Senior Consultant, the person we signed up under spending three hours just this past Sunday at our little "Heart Gate Farm" training and helping us move forward. Jay Bergeron is his name and I feel confident saying that so far we have received pretty darn good support.
